SUISS has its very own publication entitled Northern Light, a collection of work from the SUISS Creative Writing course. Northern Light is a biannual publication run by SUISS and offers Creative Writing students the opportunity to publish work produced during their stay in Edinburgh. The latest volume, Northern Light 2010-11, has just come fresh from the press.

If you would like to purchase a copy of Northern Light 2010-11, you can do so online by following the instructions given below. A payment of £8.50 per copy should be made and this includes postage and packaging. Copies of Northern Light 2004-05, 2006-07 and 2008-09 are available for purchase at £7.50 per copy, which includes postage and packaging, and these can be ordered in the same way.

Purchase your copy of Northern Light 2010-11 online by following these instructions:

  • Go to the Scottish Universities' International Summer School page on the University of Edinburgh online store.

  • Add the necessary items to your basket, entering the price where required

  • Once you have selected all the required products, click on 'Checkout' to proceed to make payment.

  • You will be required to enter your personal details such as e-mail address, name and address.

  • When prompted review the total order cost and enter your card details. The transaction will be handled securely by WorldPay.

  • As with all web payment sites, you should take a print of your successful transaction although an email will be sent to confirm the details.
