Paying for a Place at the Summer School

Notes on how to make payment

  1. Payment must be in Sterling. Do not send cash.
  2. Please give your NAME in all financial transactions/correspondence.
  3. By Sterling Bank Draft - If you pay by Bank Draft you should send it to SUISS.
  4. By Cheque in Sterling drawn on a British Bank, or International Money Order - If you send the money yourself by Cheque or Money Order, you should send it to SUISS. Cheques should be made payable to 'The Scottish Universities' International Summer School'.

    If you pay by bank transfer, you should enclose a photocopy of the transfer document with your application.

     
  6. Pay online using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Visa Debit or Solo:
  • Go to the Scottish Universities' International Summer School page on the University of Edinburgh online store at the address below. Once you are at the University of Edinburgh epay, from the Navigation tab on the top left choose Product catalogue, then College of Humanities and Social Science, and from that click on School of Literatures, Languages, and Cultures. This will take you to the SUISS page.

  • Add the necessary items to your basket, entering the price where required
  • Once you have selected all the required products, click on 'Checkout' to proceed to make payment.
  • You will be required to enter your personal details such as e-mail address, name and address.
  • When prompted review the total order cost and enter your card details. The transaction will be handled securely by WorldPay.
  • As with all web payment sites, you should take a print of your successful transaction although an e-mail will be sent to confirm the details.
