Greek Summer School will run from 19th-25th
July 2009.
We
are already planning the courses and activities...watch

Greek
language and literature have been taught
and studied at the University of Edinburgh
ever since its foundation in 1583.
'Standing on the shoulders of giants',
the new Greek Summer School at Edinburgh
University offers intensive courses
in Classical Greek, New Testament Greek,
Byzantine Greek, and Modern Greek.
Our
tutors are experienced and dedicated teachers
who are current and former members of staff
at Edinburgh and other Universities
The
intensive Greek courses will be offered
at Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced
levels in small groups. The Summer School
also includes a full programme of lectures,
workshops and social events.
We
welcome adults of all ages, backgrounds,
and levels of experience, whether your interest
is academic, professional, for personal
development, or just for fun.
